The 109th meeting of the board of directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held at its boardroom in the city recently, said a press release.
SJIBL Chairman Md Towhidur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Also present at the board meeting were SJIBL Board of Directors Vice-chairman Md Sanaullah Shahid, directors Sajjatuz Jumma, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Younus, Mohammad Hasan, Syed Nurul Arefeen, Abdul Halim, Tofazzal Hossain, Rukunuddin Khan, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed and Md Masud, Managing Director Muhammad Ali and Deputy Managing Director Md Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury.

The board approved a number of investment proposals and discussed various issues relating to policy matters of the bank.
