The 108th meeting of the board of directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held at its head office in the city recently.

Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Md Towhidur Rahman presided over meeting, the bank said in a statement.

The board approved a number of investment proposals and discussed various issues relating to policy matters of the bank.

Also present on the occasion were, SJIBL vice-chairmen Mohiuddin Ahmed and Md Sanaullah Shahid, directors Sajjatuz Jumma, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Younus, Mohammad Hasan, Abdul Halim, Tofazzal Hossain, Rukunuddin Khan, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed and Md Masud, Managing Director (Current Charge) Md Mukhter Hossain and Deputy Managing Director Md Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury.
