Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited opened its 42nd branch in Comilla recently.

Director of the bank Md Solaiman inaugurated the branch as chief guest, said a news release.

Chairman of the bank Md Towhidur Rahman, vice-chairman of executive committee Syed Nurul Arefeen, directors Mohammed Farooq and Abdul Halim, managing director Muhammad Ali, deputy managing directors Md Mukhter Hossain and Md Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury, among others, were present at the ceremony.

Mohammad Ali gave a brief description of the bank’s deposit and investment schemes in the programme.
