Managing Director of SJIBL Muhammad Ali and Managing Director of Bangla Phone Amjad H Khan exchanging documents after signing the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in the city Sunday.


Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has signed an agreement with Bangla Phone Limited.

Managing Director of the bank Muhammad Ali and Managing Director of Bangla Phone Amjad H Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in the city Sunday, said a press release.

Under the deal, the bank will implement Bangladesh Automated Cheque Processing System (BACPS) and Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) Processing System Solution using MICR encoded cheques and electronic data to be used by the clients of Dhaka-based branches of the bank, outlets and booths.

Among others, Deputy Managing Director of the bank Md Mukhter Hossain and Head of Information Technology (IT) Md Ziaullah Khan and Director of Bangla Phone Lutfunnisa Saudia Khan were present.
