Capital Market Services Division of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has opened the College Gate unit of its brokerage house in the city. Director of the bank Anwer Hossain Khan inaugurated the unit as chief guest Wednesday, said a press release.

Other seven units of brokerage house of the bank would be opened in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna and Jessore areas this year. Among others, Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Engr Md Towhidur Rahman, Director Syed Nurul Arefeen, Managing Director Muhammad Ali and Deputy Managing Director Md Mukhter Hossain were present at the inaugural ceremony. A good number of clients and well-wishers were also present at the ceremony, the release added.
